Getting to know you
- What problem are you wanting to solve?
- What are your goals?
- What do you want to learn about? (Just a coupe of examples)
- Communicating with others
- Video calling: Skype or FaceTime
- Getting online
- How to improve your security
- Photo management
- Communicating with others
- What are your hobbies?
- Do you have questions you’d like answered?
How we can work together to achieve your goals?
- SLOWLY
- You ‘drive’
- Bitsize chunks
- Foundations first
- We will use ‘technical terms’ – with explanation – seeking to ‘demystify’ and clarify to help you and others communicate
- Repetition
- I talk you though doing something
- You do it and take notes
- You do it following your notes
- End of lesson summaries – points for our next session
- Practice without me (noting anything you find difficult and anything extra you would like to cover during coming sessions)
When the world says, “Give up”
Hope whispers, “Try it one more time”
